The project beneficiaries receiving trees seedlings to be planted in their community land.

In 23rd April 2023, ACEO received UTO Grant to respond to Environmental Justice Issues during the United Thank Offering Announcement of Care of Creation 2022 Grant Awards.
The project title was called Our Creation, Our Development Project - as developed by ACEO after did a baseline survey on the flood that hit the Southern regions of Tanzania in 2020 that revealed the region’s vulnerability where by the statistics that were recorded regards to the flood were death of people, displaced population, houses destructions, and roads damage, farmlands destructions and bridge destructions.
The flood was caused by the climatic change in the region.
ACEO wished to strengthen climate adaptation through community-focused Public Education and Outreach (PEO) and distribution of 310,000 trees to 69 Villages with most vulnerable climatic impacts including damaging deep potholes, erosion, and desertification in the Southern highlands regions.
Through this project, the total number of 250,000 pine seedlings has been planted in 500 acres, and 60,000 Hagenia Abyssinica seedlings have been planted in 9 water sources.
